Since most Sight Words do not follow reading rules that Kindergarten students know, we have dedicated extra resources to practice reading and writing these words.

These pages are designed to be printed, cut, and stapled into half booklets for students. However, they can also be used as whole sheets to provide extra practice.

The Sight Word pages cover the words that students will be learning in their reading books.

TIPS & TRICKS

We love to practice sight words weekly. So, even if students have not learned a new sight word, we return to ones they have learned and review.

You can also have students write in crayon and use plastic mesh canvases behind these papers to provide textured writing opportunities.
